I've been near Charlotte for almost about 7 years and this is a place I've never visited. I decided to finally pay a visit to Billy Graham's Library (Museum). The museum is free to the public. You have the house that his dad and mom lived in and the museum in the back. It was quiet and peaceful. :)

The tour was great! Each section had videos and clips of Billy Graham preaching, to be honest, I didn't know much about Billy Graham's history, but after coming away from the tour I had much more of an understanding of what he did. This section and others had scriptures posted around the displays.

This section of the tour represents Mark 16:15 "And he said unto them, Go ye into al lthe world, and preach the gospel to every creature."

Billy Graham's wife is buried in this area of the museum outside. I was curious of what was written on her tombstone "End of Construction - Thank you for your patience." :)

This provided the answer and also surprised me that his wife was actually born in China to missionary parents. Wow! I must admit that even listening to the clips during the tour let me reflect on my own salvation and being thankful and realizing the importance of preaching the Gospel to others. I would suggest you stop by if you're ever in the Charlotte area, the tour guides said especially in December!
